Biography

“When I turned 20, I got my first bar job as a barback at Boutiq’Bar, Budapest. Through a year of apprenticeship, I immersed myself in bartending and found that I was drawn to the similarities between cooking and creating beverages.

After five years of bartending at various venues, I felt the urge to leave the country, expand my vision and bartend while travelling.

A short stop-over in Germany led to an invitation from a friend to join a new project in Sydney, Australia.

When hospitality in NSW reopened, I rejoined the team as a supervisor at Dean & Nancy on 22, our newest opening at the time.”

After his much-anticipated Masterclass held at Kempinski Hotel Corvinus on the afternoon of 12 September 2024, Kris took over the counter at Blue Fox The Bar. In a spirited mood, he prepared two exclusive cocktails that showcased his unique flair and expertise: ‘Starry Night’ and ‘Avallen’, featuring the award-winning Triple Juniper Gin by Never Never Distilling Co.
